Superado por el novedoso sistema Advanced Softtorque (AST) de Electroproject, desde 2018, EPST solo se suministra a equipos de perforaci\u00f3n equipados con top drives de CC (top drives alimentados por corriente continua).<\/b><\/p><p>En el caso de los top drives de corriente continua, EPST es la soluci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma de eficacia probada para resolver los problemas de stick-slip. Desarrollado en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con los principales socios del sector, el sistema ya se ha implantado eficazmente en todo el mundo. EPST es el \u00fanico sistema Softtorque certificado por Shell para aplicaciones de CC, que resuelve los problemas de stick-slip en las operaciones de perforaci\u00f3n con top drives de CC. El \"stick-slip\" es un fen\u00f3meno com\u00fan en las operaciones de perforaci\u00f3n, independientemente del uso de top drives de CC o CA.<\/p><h2>Tecnolog\u00eda Softtorque para top drives de CC<\/h2><p>A determinadas profundidades, y en funci\u00f3n de las condiciones de perforaci\u00f3n, la broca puede atascarse en el fondo del pozo mientras las sartas de perforaci\u00f3n siguen girando.
